Welcome to Episode 6 of The Drop, featuring a curated selection of brand new releases that have hit streaming platforms in the last few weeks.
There are a few recurring artists you’ll hear in the mix this week, since they all dropped new albums, and I just had to sneak in more than one track from each 🙂 In particular we’ve got new sounds from V, A-natural, Rico James and Gabriel Garzón-Montano.
There is also a new track from Nightmares on Wax, who just celebrated the 25 anniversary of their seminal album “Smokers Delight“. As part of the anniversary the guys released a new E.P. dubbed “Smokers Delight: Sonic Buds“, featuring two brand new tracks as well as a live version of “Nights interlude”, recorded live in Chicago in 2014. And.. there is also a trippy short film that’s worth checking out.
