Radiant Children are a three-piece R&B/Soul outfit based in London. Their debut album is “There’s Only Being Yourself”.
Although they’ve making music all their lives, they first caught a lot of listeners ears when two of their tracks were featured on HBO’s comedy-drama “Insecure” created by Issa Rae and Larry Wilmore. Since then they’ve gone on to tour the US, drop a number of singles, and are now finally out with their debut 9 track album.
The band prefers a DIY approach to writing and recording. Establishing their own studio space in North London where they are able to write, record and mix the songs all by themselves.
The album has a foundation of R&B/Soul with a lot of live instrumentation. There is also an indie feel to it, in the realm of Sneaker Pimps or PJ Harvey’s more trip-hop inspired tracks of the mid-90’s.
We’ll be keeping an eye on their future sounds for sure.
